Taco Lake

In school I was always trying to link my favorite things like Modernism and Gothicism, and tacos.

I came up with many ( mostly failed) ideas to link them into a beautiful hybrid… including a fake Architecture Firm called “Fiberglass Taco”…

Well today no one has shot down my next foray into a taco hybrid world… A taco ballet:

I call it “Taco Lake”

My imagination is limitless… because much like swan lake I plan on pulling all the stops including a children’s dance where they are little taquitos.

Are you excited?

This post is about something I find terrifying.

This Shirt, as seen on one of my favorite clothing websites:

It looks like a person who couldn’t sew tried to stitch this together the only way they knew how… the wrong way. I find this shirt is not as artistic as the website would like me to perceive it. Especially for $40, this is ridiculous.

Also it reminds me of that episode of the Cosby Show when Denise made Theo a replica of a shirt he wanted and it ended up looking like this:

Happy Architecture: John Hancock Tower

I don’t usually post any of the architectural stuff that I do.  I have no idea why really… Maybe because I feel people are way too stuffy about architecture. Maybe because it’s what I do all day… anyways…

I was torn on this one because it is at both times architecture and a doodle. But I decided to post it because it is my favorite skyscraper. Simple and structurally magnificent I present to you Big John from Chicago:

Also can anyone tell SOM, that I would like to make big buildings with them? Because its true.

She’s straight up fancy

Here is a doodle of my mom’s cat Cynthia.

She is very fancy.

She’s so fancy she will only drink out of a crystal glass.

She loves to eat whilst sitting on a padded cushion.

She likes to take naps on expensive clothing, and only designer purses.

Also she likes to take naps like… all day.

This cat is nothing like Elliott.
