Drawing Challenge day 11!
Draw someone else’s pet! I drew Veronica’s handsome cat… Kimba!
He’s grey and dreamy, and wants all of her attention!

Today’s drawing challenge was to draw an unsual outfit you’d like to wear for everyday occasions.
I would be so honest to say that I love like 1980s/70s glam that I would love to be dressed like in glitter costumes all day… even if I was in the office.
And since I work in such a corporate environment… I think people would be very surprised.

I needed to make a post that wasn’t in the scope of my drawing competition!
Which probably means… it’s going to be a mermaid.
They are really what I’ve been making in my spare time… so like my mind is all nautical like all of the time.
And that’s just alright with me… it keeps my head out of space for like 30 minutes at a time.
So I present to you proudly, my Elliott and me self portrait:
it’s like my new favorite thing
Happy Monday!
Today’s drawing competition is going to be an exciting one :)

Today’s drawing challenge is pretty much the most exciting part of my day.
“What are you going to eat?”
Usually I eat sandwiches that I take to work… but I have dreams.
And they are yummy
I always wish I was having chili cheese fries and shakes!
Yum, yum give me some.
But I also waiver in not wanting Richard Simmons to cry because all I eat is chili cheese fries and milkshakes, and this is why sometimes i eat vegetables.

Today’s drawing challenge was one of my own choices. I’ve always wanted to be a constellation. So, that’s what today’s drawing challenge is
Your canvas is the sky and just all the possibilities are just how you arrange them. It would be so delightful to see the galaxy from a different perspective.
Happy weekend,
Lauren
Okay today’s’ drawing goal really threw me… because I didn’t know what it was
Veronica told me to draw a “mandala”
And much to my surprise it was not a portrait of Nelson Mandela.
It’s like a circular religious symbol. Which is not really in my ballpark of things I draw. It is also luckily for me adopted to be more of a geometric illustration that I can make without insulting peoples religions.
And although I am delightfully offensive, I keep religion and politics far from my scope of things I will make drawings about.
BUT- I do know how to draw Elliott.
And so I present the first and only cat-centric mandala on the internet*
At least it’s the only cat-centric mandala approved by Elliott.
♥Lauren
*i do not know if that statement is true, but it probably isn’t.. I mean the internet really likes cats
