The Isabel Stare-a-thon has become the newest sensation for the 2-D.
This doodle Lauren really can barely handle it.
I can’t even explain to you how Mickey Mouse or Baloo feels about it…. Because they are holding on to their f*ing hats.

So I am off to the magical island of Honolulu. I’m really hoping to see those really cute guys from Hawaii 5-0, and to live life like Gidget.
Don’t worry though, the Isabel Stare-a-thon won’t stop because I’m not here.

Many people would not agree with me and my love for the tragic prince of vanity, Dorian Gray.
He was created by one of my literary BFF’s Oscar Wilde. Who takes you through the luscious world of appearances in Victorian England.
At the age of 18 Dorian sits for a portrait so beautiful that all sorts of men adore him, and all his awesome hot-ness. So while being a stupid man delighted with his appearance he and Lord Henry kind of sell his soul to the devil… so he can stay young and handsome forever…
I can’t say that many 18 year olds wouldn’t do something so dumb.
So for another 18 years or so he counted up sins like nobody’s business… Including being mean to his Ophelia like girlfriend, and murdering the man who originally painted him. At least he looked damn good while doing it. And like all other straight up gangsters he never misse a party. Wouldn’t he so be friends with Kanye West in modern times?

There have been so many things happening recently.
Some good, some better.
While I have realized I’m soon to have a plethora of non necessary architecture books, I am also spreading out my art… and may try to do something with it. Exciting? Maybe to me and all of my fan.
But I finally had time to doodle, and start another impossible project which I call “All in Good Character.”This has a lot to do with characters that I love from books and movies, and not so much with tacos. In other news tacos are not so thrilled about this revelation.
Also I have started the preparations for the Isabel Stare-a-thon 2010.

Okay this weekend I saw Popeye at this place called Oinksters in Eagle Rock.(btw delicious food)
I was really perplexed by the obsession of Bluto had for Olive Oyl being as:
1. She was totally into Popeye.
2. She looked like this:
And I was thinking there are so many other cartoon girls out there Bluto… and some of them look like this:
And all she has in her cartoons are a creepy wolf, and Sr. Droopy. I’m sure she’d totally dig you.

You may see her shirtless and sometimes pantless action… but is Lady Gaga hiding something?
No I’m not talking about the people who says she’s a Mister Gaga… I’m talking about her fashion inspirations….
Is she hiding the fact that her “look” & fashion come from the hit cartoon Jem & the Holograms?
I think Lady G looks a lot like Jem/Jerrica… you can note the similarities yourself….

Do you remember that Jem’s theme song promises you “Adventure… excitement… Glamour and glitter, Fashion and fame!” Doesn’t that sound like Lady Gaga’s game?
Jem thinks this is truly outrageous… 
If you are an 80’s child you remember the wild fashions that happened on this more than rad cartoon. The makeup, the hair, the uneccessary drama, the boyfriend who is in love with the same girl more than once. This sounds eerily identical to the happenings of Lady Gaga.
But I really don’t mind….. because Lady Gaga is fabulous without holograms… and if there were a movie about Jem (that wasn’t Hanna Montana) I think Lady Gaga should star in it.
