I like the way you swing your briefcase

Okay so this is mostly about how I am ashamed of myself for watching ABC Family’s “Beauty and the Briefcase.” It sounded alright…. Hillary Duff, cute clothes, Matt Dallas, hilarious office shenanigans…

But, it turned out so very very wrong.

I really must say I watched it because of this particular guy:

who was on this particular show:

with this kid from “Glee”:

BUT what I didn’t expect  is that although Matt Dallas was refered to as starring in this Movie.  It really meant he was only in it for 5-8 minutes. And she never gave him a chance… to talk or anything. LAME!

What I found is that the character in this movie were highly improbable and at the same time unlikable.  Hillary Duff is writing an undercover piece for Cosmopolitan Magazine about finding love with a professional man. As all she does is wear colorful clothing, drink with the guys from her office, and lament over a list concocted as a teenage girl to find the dreamiest guy. By the way her answer to dreamy guy is some dude with a foreign accent, who travels on a whim, and is suprising.

This is how I imagine him:

And on a bonus of a sidenote: All her and her friends talk about are men and sex while wearing hideous avocado masks, drinking wine in a box and eating junk food. Which is apparently exactly how girls act. And although she knows nothing about business, she tries to save the company with her trendy presentation skills. Even more lame.

Oh and she keeps referring to her “dream guy” as a “magic man”… this is all I could think of:

Yeah that is apparently all women do.  I found this movie an exact copy of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” and “13 going on 30” without any of the depth. And these movies are not exactly deep. Not even her “I dress really cute” clothes could save this movie.

So if you want to watch a cute movie about a girl and fashion magazines, always go for Jenna Rink. Thank you for your time.

P.S. Why does ABC Family keep telling me its “a different kind of family”. It sounds like they are pedophiles.

Glee: “Vitamin D” & Doe-Eyed Fashions

Episode 6 “Vitamin D” Fashion Recap!

This week after watching glee I felt a lot like this:

But, before I carry on about the happy drug faces seen through out this episode, let’s share Emma’s wicked fashion this week.

As usual Emma’s clothes don’t dissapoint!

Here she is removing mustard from Mr. Shue’s chin… check her green skirt!

She makes the best “celebrity judge” for the glee kids:

If you totally like the skirt like I do it’s Anna Sui at Antrhopologie… but their site says it’s no longer available.

On a positive and equally yellow note…

I think her fashion sense may be rubbing off on the girls:

Wouldn’t it be nice if they started a fashion club?

SPOILER! SPOILER!

This is a cute blue boatneck shirt, this is not exactly a spoiler…

BUT this is:

This not cute engagement ring is the spoiler!

OMG!

But now back to bow week!!!

Here’s Emma in her Dolphin Shirt and Coral skirt; it’s a great retro, yet bow filled number.

And just in case you had too much bow…

here she is in ruffles, and a coral skirt:

I love how she accents everything with yellow. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Glee: Sweaters, Man

okay so, I really like the clothes on Glee. And not the ones on the kiddo’s.

The ones I speak of course are on Jayma Mays.

Especially this one:

When I saw this one I new I had to have it.And I found a close friend to it here. And it somes in several cute colors. ANd my goal is to wear it without a St. Lucy’s Button Up under it :)

Her post Kurt throwing up on her outfit was cute too:

it’s almost Sgt. Peppery but still in a lady way.

Yes I know I have no accord to talk about fashion because of how much I have obsessed over this outfit:

But give me a break, I love sweaters.

Glee: the Fashion Club

It is incredibly obvious that I like “glee.”

Which has lured me with it’s “Bring it On” meets “Miss Guided” meets “Grease” plot…

Not just because the whole office is still singing “Single Ladies” or because I have been listening to Montell Jordan “This is How we do it” on repeat.

Nor is it because I want a button that says “gleek”

But because I cannot get enough of OCD(elicious) Emma Pillsbury played by the adorable Jayma Mays…

She’s the most adorable guidance counselor since… well, “Miss Guided’s” Ms. Perky… she is also in love with the Spanish teacher/Glee Coach Will.

hmm the parallels :)

But I digress

She really does.

And I adore her Mod-Preppy Chic-ness. It’s very “That Girl”.

She wears pretty much every color…

And she wears it well:

Green!

Purple!

Brown!

Yellow!

Her preppy adorable-ness makes her one of the hippest teachers at this Ohio High school. I could just imagine the immaculate closet of rainbow colors she must have! I wonder how many sweaters she owns????

and her lonely sweater is J-crew tastic…

I must also make this comment about her wicked cute accessories:

She may as well start her own Fashion Club… watch out Will:

But I know some people object to her cuteness due to her ulterior Will motives…So although she may have ♥’s for a married man most people can agree:

also…

Anyone want to go shopping for some cute clothes???

Glee: All By Myself

I really love emotional moments in TV and movies…

One of my favorite moments from tv happened many years ago on a show called “Felicity”… it was this classic dramatic moment when Noel locked himself in his dorm closed the curtains and listens to “everybody hurts by REM”  after a failed attempt at a relationship with Felicity

(since the show is so old there are no clips of this online :(…. )

But I digress, I think that glee is trying to steal away my affections of lonely noel with this more than depressing clip.

I’m sorry Noel… but Emma Pillsbury may win.

especially since she has way cute clothes.
