Isabel Stare-A-Thon: Saturday Night

I do believe it was once said by Sir Elton John that “Saturday Night was alright for staring… at Isabel.” Or it may have been that guy with the binoculars outside her window… Anyhoo I digress.

On this the first Saturday of the 30 tantalizing days at staring at one of my best pals I bring to you this scientific fact:

Have a wonderful stare-a-thon weekend!
(I promise some new doodles next week!)

Isabel Stare-A-thon: Fallon Follies

I hope all of you had a blessed Isabel filled thanksgiving. Another celebrity has come forward wanting to share his Isabel stare-a-thon habits with the rest of the Isabel nation.

Yes, late night best friend Jimmy Fallon is an avid Isabel-stare-a-thon enthusiast. He spends all day gazing at the monitors installed in Isabel’s work and apartment. However, when he’s on air he commonly worries about his Isabel fix until now:

Isabel Stare-A-thon 2011: A friendly reminder

I this most sacred time of looking upon Isabel. I want to remind you of a few courteous staring approaches:

1. Never stare while eating cotton candy

2. Try not to oggle, this is not a oggle-a-thon

3. Do not stare at Isabel while handling heavy machinery

4. Do stare at Isabel while she is sciencing about, this is her most comfortable habitat

5. Do invest in a periscope, because sometimes she takes to the sea

And 6. is illustrated below:

Happy pre-thanksgiving stare!

And remember to stare responsibly!

Isabel Stare-A-Thon 2011: Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing

Today on the Isabel Stare-a-thon we are going to see one of our many of celebrity starers.

Todays celebrity ia non other than Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge, Steven “fancy lips” Tyler.  Since he’s currently on tour he’s taken his staring to the interwebs.

True story: The band’s 1998 hit “I don’t wanna miss a thing” was actually about Isabel!

Doesn’t that make the song have a whole new meaning.

Isabel Stare-A-thon: The Local Celebrity

The Isabel Stare-A-thon is in full operating mode today. And as Isabel is enjoying her local haunts she’s finding out how many followers the Stare-A-thon really has.

While traipsing about her local zoo like establishment she found out that the “Isabel Stare-a-thon” is a balanced outreach program for the animals and fixtures of the zoo.

While on her way from seeing actual real rhinoceros and lemurs (obviously you can see she is… not at the LA zoo)  Isabel stumbled upon this friend of the marathon:

Remember everyone every glance helps the cause!

Isabel Stare-a-thon 2011: It Begins

Good Evening Fine people of the interwebs,

I have the best of news to report…That beautiful, and magical time of year is back! So get out your eyedrops and dust off your binoculars because…

it is finally time to start staring at Isabel for 30 days and nights!

I started off the stare-a-thon in the best way possible, by staring at Isabel in person this very morning. It put me right in the spirit of getting this Stare-a-thon in action! So after consulting the council of starers we created the new theme for this particular stare-a-thon:

Remember until December 20th and Canadian Boxing Day… all I’s are to be on Isabel!

The Luckiest of Ducks

I am super Über grateful for the really great friends I have.

I am sometimes really moody, a little too giggly, and overall too bedazzled and confused about basically everything I do. Most times I am composed, but sometimes I break into tiny dorito like pieces (because I’m made of cool ranch.) And then my friends tell me that everything is going to be all right, and to take it like a Lauren.

I am Lauren F*ing Hollaway after all :)

Thanks again girlies!

Dream Big Isabel!

So many year ago… when Isabel and I were but children (Okay, teenagers without cars) we used to sit in front of school and talk about music, how to avoid creepy teachers, and our dream cars.

One of the best ideas was to take Isabel’s first car the Mercedes Station Wagon and to transform it into a beautiful monster truck/convertible. Not only would she get the wind whipping through her hair, but she would be at a much higher altitude. This would of course alleviate her from all the possibilities of getting hit in the face with a sticky plastic bag.

Although neither of us have the money to do it yet, I beg Isabel to keep dreaming that this can be her reality someday!

Keep the dream alive!

P.S. I forgot to put the ‘R’ in Danger… you should do that for yourself! :)
