Happy Isabel Stare-a-thon everybody!

I was thinking that the stare-a-thon could use a little more pizzaz. So I dusted the sparkles from my brow and said… “Why not make it a little more musical?”

So today read the following with the sweet beat of the 12 days of Christmas:

On the 8th day of the stare-a-thon I would like to share with thee a Bird staring at Isabel by some trees:

He did 7 hours of staring’

With 6 passing tourists…

5 DAYS IN A ROW!!!!!

With 4 bathroom breaks,

3 parked cars…

2 beatty eyes…

At ONE Isabel holding flowers!

I’m expecting Isabel to be questioning my brain thoughts after reading this. And for everyone who is severely confused by a holiday made to stare at a stranger… I should have a doodle up later today too. And a story, a story about things that can only happen to me.

Isabel Stare-a-thon 2012: Up Close and Personal

As a safety reminder I just want to say that I know that the stare-a-thon is very exciting. But please don’t hurt yourself while trying to get that upclose stare. You may not really be there in person. And I cannot send tylenol to everyone who whacks their head on their computer screen.

This is mostly because I use advil and don’t give out my address to strangers. Be safe starers.

Isabel Stare-A-Thon 2012: First Saturday

First Saturday of the Stare-a-thon is here. That means you have no pesky work to hold you back from staring at the one and only Isabel, (unless you have work on Saturday, then you should go to work.)

The best part about weekends and the stare-a-thon is that you can have many people over to have a few drinks, eat some gelato… and stare until their eyes fall out:

Isabel Stare-a-thon 2012: Best Alone

Some people are very old school when it comes to staring at the most treasured Isabel in California. They absolutely refuse to follow the new stare in numbers campaign and still are staring at her all stealth like:

They just sit around her neighborhood trying to find the best angles of her to get their stare on. They still sit there for days at a time only eating cheetos, barely blinking. I hope this doesn’t scare you Isabel… but they are doing it right now.

Today is a great day. Because almost everyone around me has it off… including me. It’s a day to spend with your family enjoying family things. And what better family bonding moment can there be than to stare at Isabel?

It’s that time of year again to dust of your periscopes and get into the groove of staring at Californian sweetheart Isabel! Now as you can remember the Isabel Stare-A-thon is the official start to the holiday season. And it is where we take time to show Isabel how much we care to stare at her face.

Now this stare-a-thon has an exciting new development. Isabel has since the last stare-a-thon got engaged… to Dave the man who wants to make every day his own personal stare-a-thon.

And now to announce the theme of this year’s stare-a-thon I must give credit of this brain child to my new giggling accomplice/coworker Jonathon who is excited about his first Stare-a-thon:

Isabel Stare-A-thon: Periscope wrap up

Hello stare-ers!
Whether you are a new fan of the stare-a-thon, or an old staring buddy we here at Viciously Sweet thank you for enjoying a month dedicated to staring at Isabel!

Now that the time has come to dismantle our newly purchased periscopes I can only tell you one thing..

I hope you bought that convenient periscope holder so you can store it until the next Stare-a-thon:

 

Remember you will be judged by other starers for improper periscopes use…You will be scoffed at by the throngs of starers who will say “Check out that periscopes current condition” and then they will full-heartedly guffaw at you, and then you will be all embarrassed and you will have to stare at home online by yourself… and not with the people.

Also remember there is also a closing ceremony next Monday.
