I’m just going to be over here… blending in with the wall

Just a quick reference for anyone who wants me to wear peach clothing.
I am the color of peach.
In a peach dress I effectively look like a peach blob with eyes:

This is also a thank you to my sister for realizing, that although peach is a nice color, if I am a bridesmaid in her wedding I should not wear peach ever. I would look either naked and weird, or like I’ve been dead for two weeks, maybe three. Now that I’m sure I don’t have to blend in with the wall/my dress/the universe. I feel a lot better about life.

Dear Gerard Butler

I am a very girly girl. I like girly romantic comedies, and I also like to watch movies where butts are being kicked all over the place (and possibly in your face, thanks 3D.)
I will admit, these are two very different kinds of films. Sometimes actors mingle at the border of these two genres and boggle my mind.
Sometimes it works out well… and then sometimes, there is Gerard Butler…

Against all of my brain logic I decided to watch “The Ugly Truth” (even though I don’t really like Katherine Heigl) and yes … I wanted to stab my brain until the only thing I could remember was where I live and how much I like 30 Rock. I secretly kept watching hoping that it will get better, and would change my perspective on Katherine Heigl. It didn’t.
Then I started hoping it would turn a little more 300 and Mr. Butler would cut of Katherine Heigl’s head and set the rest of her on fire. But yet again this wish was not granted, and then I wished I had watched nothing at all. Not anything.

As a person who likes Gerard Butler kicking butts and toting weapons, and not being in the Phantom of the Opera, I implore you to read my doodle:

I mean seriously, Josh Duhamel needs some work too.

My apologies to Mark Twain, and one of my best ideas of this week.

Last night, after a rousing trip to Ikea with the incredibly overworked Nancy, I set in for a long summers nap (aka sleep.) But could not really sleep so I watched one of my newer favorite-teen-movies-staring-really-old-actors, “Easy A”…
You know with that adorable as hell Emma Stone.

(btw, I would so wear that)

And that guy I never found attractive until I watched this movie:

And what he is also Woodchuck mascot? Sign me up please… don’t worry he’s probably 30.
Oh wow, nope he’s 24.

I have decided that the world now could truly accept the bounty of a teen movie created by my friends and me. Seriously wouldn’t you love to watch a movie about…

a weird and incredibly clumsy artsy girl:

a weird yet adorable scientific girl:

a teen who was far too intellectual for High School:

a pseudo goth, and a… well a… girl who hated life, while simultaneously being a… person?

Now imagine their journey while being nerds in a repressed Catholic School with cameos of foreign exchange students, Canadians, never-ending spanish classes, Religion classes from hell, awful snobby classmates (who applied makeup like Elizabethan whores), and the most incredibly creepy teacher who has ever existed!

Hours of entertainment, am I right?
Plus, school days off because of a fire? This stuff practically writes itself.

5 Questionable Song Dedications for Isabel

Good Morning Internet.
I’ve been thinking about those beautiful/hilarious things that you hear when people dedicate songs to someone they are crazy for.
The dj always has a silky 1940s smoking actress voice, and makes even the most disturbing love stories seem magical. For Example (please read the following with that sassy narrator voice in mind):
“Salvador, Erin cares so much for you, that she has asked to dedicate ‘Bryan Adam’s Heaven’ to you to celebrate your 4 day anniversary.”
Or
“This is 18 with a bullet, to Smokey out in San Quentin from Sad Eyes in Monterey Park”

Either one shows the awesome dedication that people have for one another.

Today let’s dedicate some songs to Isabel!

I am going to post 5 songs that would make Isabel mildly to incredibly uncomfortable if you dedicated them to her on radio stations. Give them a try, I will even give you the intro to them… remember its Isabel from San Diego.

1. “Yes hello, this is Lauren and I want to dedicate a song that means so much to my friend Isabel… it will always remind her of that time we stayed up and watched ‘Centerstage’ in the middle of the night after being in a bus while trying to fix our friends t-shirt from exposing her boob while our Physics teacher slept.” (This is not too oddly specific)

SOME MANDY MOORE SONG

2. “This song is dedicated to Isabel, And she knows why”

SUPERFREAK

3. “For as long as Isabel’s and my lives have intertwined I can not imagine a better song to describe her. This is for you Isabel”

GETTING JIGGY WITH IT

4. “Just the thought of being dedicated this R.Kelly Song will make Isabel feel like the only girl in the world.”

YOU REMIND ME OF SOMETHING

5. “This song was written about her by her truest, gingeriest love. A love like theirs is forever and magical… like a unicorn walking during sunset on the beach of love”

INVISIBLE (ISABEL)

Have a happy Tuesday Isabel!

Doodle of Monmarte

I have no idea if I actually ever posted this drawing.
But since I have been looking back at my doodles… I found this doodle of personal hero Amelie Poulain and I thought it would be nice to share. It may not make it into my doodle book but it made it online:

It is both French and Fancy!

In the Middle of the Night

I am up tonight scanning and well scanning. Since I am pretty sure everyone at work is tired of me pouring over hundreds of silly doodles… I have decided to try to give it a go at home. I’m sure I’m irritating everyone because this has me so busy.

By the way I have been looking into my really old doodles and all I can tell you is that I am severely weird.Something about a doodle about dinosaur water? And something about Jimmy not ever cutting his hair so he can become the Rapunzel of Sylmar
And since I have been ignoring this beautiful website…
Here is a sketch of a Bunny named Clive:

Working Hard and Stuff

Hey Everyone, and by everyone I mean the 4-6 people who view this bloggity on a regular basis.
Can you notice anything different?
Hint: Look at the address bar.
Yes I have finally made this site and official thang. You can just type in http://www.viciously-sweet.com instead of searching or clicking about to find it. AWESOME!

I am also working on making my book of doodles. Which will be purchased by at least my mother. So that is also exciting.

But don’t worry, I’m not getting to professional. I’m still thinking about what mischief I can be up to today.
Maybe I’ll post more about that later.
