As a safety reminder I just want to say that I know that the stare-a-thon is very exciting. But please don’t hurt yourself while trying to get that upclose stare. You may not really be there in person. And I cannot send tylenol to everyone who whacks their head on their computer screen.
This is mostly because I use advil and don’t give out my address to strangers. Be safe starers.

Some people are very old school when it comes to staring at the most treasured Isabel in California. They absolutely refuse to follow the new stare in numbers campaign and still are staring at her all stealth like:
They just sit around her neighborhood trying to find the best angles of her to get their stare on. They still sit there for days at a time only eating cheetos, barely blinking. I hope this doesn’t scare you Isabel… but they are doing it right now.

It’s finally here. The day we’ve all been waiting for.
Fangsgiving.
So make sure you cook your undead turkey, hang your spiderwebs, bake your store bought apple pie and just sit back and relax. The day is here for you and your spooky-scary friends and family. Make the most of it, and don’t go out in the sun. I think you may melt or sparkle:

Today is a great day. Because almost everyone around me has it off… including me. It’s a day to spend with your family enjoying family things. And what better family bonding moment can there be than to stare at Isabel?
So this Thanksgiving while you are sitting there eating that third slice of pie… give it a go and multi-task some Isabel staring time into it.

I am still trying to hold on to Halloween. Mostly because I’m not a big Thanksgiving fan.
I mean I love having a day dedicated to being thankful. I get to see my family… but I really cannot stand cornucopias.
And I am always afraid their little coned shaped wicker horn is going to show up and provide my day of thankfulness with a serious visual blight.
So I suggest a new jazzy holiday. One that combines the sheer magic of Halloween and the thankfulness of Thanksgiving:

And you can party safely without the fear of that horn of plenty getting in your way.
